Happy Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.
We were just us three this year and it all went pretty smoothly.Farmer Dad picked some nice fresh carrots in the morning..
I roasted them along with beets, onions, and butternut squash also all grown here.
We served them along with our turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, dressing, cranberry sauce,
brussel sprouts , rolls and gravy. Desert was pumpkin pie
and vanilla ice cream for the Princess who does not like pie. Here I am making a plate for the little one, and here's what my plate looked like as
I sat down to eat...

I hope your holiday was lovely and want you all to know how much I
appreciate you being in my life! Here is some more autumnal goodness
that I am thankful for...

Time has been flying by here in our corner of the Garden State
and I have had very little blog time. :-(
I am trying to get back into the swing of things and can't wait to visit you all and see what you have been up to.
Happy Thanksgiving ((big hugs)) KateinNJ

Autumn Joy

The birds love the various Autumn berries that are popping up all over the yard..
Insects have been noshing on this fallen limb

We bought this sculpture at a craft fair in Calistoga ,California while I was 7 months
pregnant with my Princess. We were there to attend Farmer Dad's little brother's wedding.
If you enjoy craft fairs, don't forget to click here to enter my Sugarloaf Crafts Festival Giveaway.
Some plants are still flowering in pots around the yard despite the cold.

This butternut squash is still producing...Didn't I tell you we had lots of "Autumn Joy" around here?
I hope you are all enjoying Autumn as well!
